Selfless service and charity to the poor to make them self-sustainable.

The EU Lanka Community Forum Grantee Limited was established in the year 2000. It is being administered by an Executive Council of 5 Directors.

Meetings of the Executive Council take place monthly in general and specially whenever necessary. The meetings of the General Body take place generally annually and specially whenever necessary.

Our mission is that each and every person has got social responsibility and especially those persons who had an opportunity to get better education and living conditions, they should extend a helping hand to those less fortunate people who are very much below in the society and show light to their lives so that these less fortunate children can also get an opportunity to lead a happy and peaceful life and thus bring down the social imbalance which is the root cause for the current day turmoil in the society.

It is the misfortune of the old to be neglected or disgraceful of the youngsters to neglect them and with time the menace is growing as our Unitarian culture is breaking into nuclear families..

Orphans Home

Many children are separated from their parents due to natural disasters, disease, poverty or pressured by circumstance and cultural rejection.

Child Welfare

Poverty, migration, lack of access to quality education, unemployed parents are some reasons that force children into labour depriving them of their right to education, development- and a childhood. EU LANKA tackles the root causes which force children to work, ensuring they are moved out of work into school.
